As a commercial dog photographer for over thirty years, I combined my love of dogs, and a passion for gardening and nature into my images. Publishers responded to this combination, and my photos graced the covers of magazines, calendars, and books.
Let the second act begin
In looking for a new creative challenge I discovered the artistic medium of watercolor. This path allowed me to let my whimsical nature fly. My extensive collection of reference photos offers me countless creative ideas. It was the perfect fit for the second act to begin.
Creative concept turns into reality
I had an idea for creating a fictional character, a Golden Retriever named Digger the Garden Dog. The problem was I couldn’t quite see his face. Then, in 2017, that face was born. After struggling with a name for our new pup, I heard that small voice inside say, “This is your Digger.” Join me in my Studio, where you’ll see art, gardens, and, of course, my two lovable Golden Retrievers, Digger and Fetch.
